ENS sufferers in Canada needed - golden opportunity!!
I have been contacted by Ashleigh Russell of Global News TV, which is based in Ontario, Canada. She is working on a story about a surgical procedure said to relieve allergy sufferers of breathing problems and she came across our website and was wondering if some Canadian ENS sufferers might be interested in contributing to this story. She said, "I think it's really important to hear the other side of nasal surgeries where results aren't as pleasant as hoped." So, please, please consider offering her some feedback or encouraging your fellow Canadian to take action, as this is a golden opportunity to raise ENS awareness among the media in Canada; her contact details are below. When i talked to ashleigh. She told me originally she was going to do a story on the benefits of ENTs touching turbinates. When she talked to the ENTs they said how it was such a good thing. After she did more research and she came across this site. She will not be doing the story anymore. She said something else came up. Maybe in the future. I am hoping this will come up again in the future but i am not keeping my fingers crossed. I have seen so much corruption out there its unbelievable. Today i was reading articles on the dangers of yoga and chiropractic care. Its so sick. I have seen countless times when patients were getting unnecassary surgeries , and in my short time being a chiropractor i stopped many people from getting certain surgeries. ENS is the tip of the iceberg. Even in the research world there is an unbelievable amount of corruption. If i told you the stories that i saw and heard it would make you want to puke.

Certainly seems there is corruption in the ENT profession. When one tells you one thing and another completely different. When you are given operations you dont need by those who take an oath, and you end up crippled and then have to fight for your health and rights.

professionals of all sorts, in every profession that provides survices, will always protect each-other for the common interest of making it hard to sue them. It's nothing special to the ENT community - you'll find it in all professions - lawyers, accountants, engineers, etc'.

It's nothing special to the ENT community - you'll find it in all professions - lawyers, accountants, engineers, etc'. True, but do they take an oath? I think there is a different level of trust and ethics expected of the medical profession. Also, I would much rather have been screwed by an accountant or engineer, the results would not be as significant on my life. I have been screwed by a lawyer, it was not good but I can tell you being screwed by an ENT is the one that has changed my life negatively.

But I agree that health is the most important thing, I am simply saying that while we expect doctors to be angels - they are not, and perhaps we expect too much in that respect. This is not saying that they should be let of the hook when negligent, but simply that we should realize ahead of time that taking an oath does not mean that a person can transcend his/her human constraints and vices that all human beings share.

Id give up every cent I have to go back to my pre operative body. My earnings capacity would make up for it anyway and life would sure be a lot more pleasant. But yes ...... I think alot of us are naive when it comes to doctors. Ive always been untrusting of anyone else in a business (as they are driven by profits) but for some reason this didnt apply to a doctor. Im not saying I wouldnt use services of a business, just that I would be very scrupulous about what they are selling me (eg mechanic saying my transmission needs replacing). For some reason I didnt think this applied to operations as I trusted way too many things - the doctor, the system (keeping him honest and me safe), the legal system should he do wrong. I guess what I am saying is that I think by default we assume that because health and your body are so important and irreplaceable and irreversible that there is no way anyone would ignorantly damage it, and that the Govt and system would have the appropriate things in place to ensure it is as close to 100% safe and ethical as possible. Perhaps we are influenced by the media and TV - all the wonderful health stories and shows they have. Unfortunately we are finding that it is far from transparent, lacks quality control and has good apples and bad apples like anything else. We wouldnt fly if we knew that they allowed good apple and bad apple airplanes, yet we do as we assume that this is all strictly controlled and managed (and it is).

i feel like you 007. If there was a choice between 100 million dollars or being like how i was before the surgery, i would take how i was before the butcher got his hands on me. Also i have improved significantly and i still feel that way. This has cost me so much money because of lost productivity, but thats the least of my concerns now. i do feel closer to god because of this surgery, and i care less about things that are not as important. My heart goes out to everone who i suffering daily because of what these butchers did.
