exam/test/implants
Doctor, Would it make sense come out and see you now, for an exam cotton -*test*-('")? Or pointless since it's still only been 5 months post op.? My concern is the I would want to get everything lined up just in case, due to the long issues with insurance/refferals, etc. if implants were needed. Also, it would be nice to talk to be examined by a doctor who isn't looking for secondary issues and treatments, but the root cause. I imagine your office would accept a credit card for a consultation if the referral process becomes to time consuming (I was told yesterday it could take up to a month, and that was after two weeks of making the initial request). I can do a cotton -*test*-('") early, but keep in mind that your nasal condition may change (hopefully improve) over the months to come and then the -*test*-('") would not be as valid.

Doctor, Have you treated many people with impants that have ENS Type, or is that rare? Good success? Also, when I come out to see you, could an injection of cemetra be done on the left anterior inferior turbinate just to try and balance it with the right a little, while I wait out the rest of the year/recover? better to just use a cotton -*test*-('") and/or saline injection to gauge results. Cymetra is most likely a permanent addition. If you understand that possibility and still wish to proceed it could be done though. I have implanted ENS-type - IT expansion. It can work well.

Hello Doctor, I am scheduled to see you at the end of the month. If I do decide on the cemetra injection on the left side, would that complicate a future implant if required (by scarring, or otherwise)? Thank you, Hoosemec

No, should not impair anything. Be certain the office knows to have cymetra available. We are having trouble getting reimbursed for this procedure as well - discuss with the office when you call. sh
