immunodeficiency Was wondering if Empty Nose Syndrome is attached to some latent immunodeficiency issues in patients.
The surgery has seriously wrecked havoc on my body, all the things that it affects keeps me in a state of feeling somewhat ill.
I've have always had a hard time healing from cuts and scratches and am wondering if the turbinectomy aggravated some latent or small immunodeficiency issue.
Has anyone come across information regarding this?

That's interesting, because I did not know if it was aging or what, but things changed the more open my nose was - maybe less protection?
The irrigation kept me from getting colds, but I easily contract the flu now, even after flu shots = anytime I go on a plane or am around new people for holidays or big gatherings, I know I am going down soon after...

poor breathing effects all body systems, even blood chemistry. And besides the stress factor in ENS is high enough to screw up everything else too.

I have been aging about 4 years for every 1. This is all linked to your bodies immune system and stress levels thanks to all of this.
A common theme - fit young, healthy, ate good, exerciesed and never smked or did drugs - probably looked younger than I was because I looked after myself. All that good work I did is down the gurgler thanks to Doctors (aren't they supposed to do the opposite?). I expected to live much longer and lthier than the average Joe, but now I expect i'll live less and certainly less happy.
However, dont give up. Keep exercising, eating healthy and WASH YOUR HANDS - this is how most colds, viruses etc are transferred. There are still many positives and you can still maximise what you are left with.
