Inferior Turbinate Reduction with Outfracture
Can anyone explain this procedure to me? I had both inferior turbinates reduced with a microdebrider along the medial and inferior edges, then electrocautery was applied. Both turbinates were back-fractured with Bois Elevator. I also had the posterior tip of my right inferior turbinate amputated. This was done sub-mucosally. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. js
