Just tired
I am poor. No one in my family helps me. And it is all my fault according to my family and parents. I think it is all starting to sink in. Is it really all my fault? :( That's all my parents say to me. It is having a profound psychological effect on me, they can never really do anything right for me. When they can actually try to help me they do the opposite. Man, I tell you my life is tough.

Life is Tough
Life is indeed tough, 3, and if you let it, it will pull you right down the tube. If it is starting to have a pyschological affect on you now I suggest you find a professional that you can talk with and relieve some of this stress on yourself. There are people out there who work on a sliding scale; you may even be able to find an agency that will do it for free. Don't give up. None of this is your fault or any of us. Our only problem was trusting someone with credentials. We know now that we need more than credentials -- we need someone with knowledge of ENS and much more. Hang in there. Valerie

Valerie, How are you feeling?

How I am Feeling
TE, I am having a few ups and downs now, but definitely more ups. I am still having most of my problems at night when I am trying to sleep. I have gotten up a few times and took a half of valium as you had suggested (I think it was you) and after a while I was able to get back to sleep. Sometimes I do notice it during the day, but mainly I have hope that it is improving. Dr. Houser had suggested I recline my bed -- unable to do that right now because there are two of us and I can't do one side. I tried the pillows and they do not work. I may very soon be getting my own apartment at which time I can try putting bricks under my bed, as Dr. Houser said. Valerie

Valerie, you can purchase a double set electric reclining bed. It's expensive but worth it. Perhaps you can get it for cheap if you find a second hand one. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Reclining Bed
Thanks TE, but there will soon be one anyway -- and if its really that expensive, I really can't afford it -- bill collectors are knocking at my door now. :( Valerie

Hi 3 I too am in a financial crunch. Though after I got an idea of the cost figures thanks to one indiv on the forum, I decided to spear headed my goal to see Dr. Houser and contacted the doctor himself. Its tough getting by with cost of living, let alone pay for medical treament out of our own pocket, but there's way if you're willing to work at it. I've PM you as to what I have done to get started financially. Hang in there.
