Living with ENS Somedays I don't know how to be positive and keep living with this. It affects every aspect of my life, and I can't believe how a turbinectomy did this to me. My nose is so empty that I feel hopeless sometimes.

this may sound odd but have you watched "what the bleep do we know" or "the secret" i like the former much more than the latter however the whole "power of intention" thing sometimes boosts me up.

Living with ENS DR, I know exactly how you feel. I don't know how long you have had it, but I have had it since 1998 and not a day has gone by where I haven't been able to focus on hardly anything else other than my nose. It's a wonder I am still holding down a job, because this is the worse thing anyone should have to deal with -- well, maybe not the worse, but it's up there on the list, people just don't know what we are going through. Feel better.

I feel your frustration. One of the most upsetting things about this is that a doctor gave this to us. It was not an unfortunate accident or disease that hit us. It was the intentional tissue removal by a doctor.
I realize that it was not done intentionally to hurt us but that does not make us better. I'm a very healthy person except for my nose. Unfortunately an unhealthy nose has the ability to make a person feel unbelievably bad all the time.
I can only dream of a day of being normal again. Unfortunately if it was not for one surgery I would be happy and healthy with some minor allergy problems.

Just curious TE, have you ever had the surgery by Dr. Houser (implant) and if not, why? Thanks.

Vallerie,
Thanks for your concern. See my PM to you on that.
