Other Problems
I was wondering if anyone with ENS have any other health problems. I am 33 years old and have had 12 surgeries. 2 wrist surgeries to remove a cyst. 2 finger surgeries on a shattered finger from a softball accident 1 surgery on each big toe to remove bone spurring and inflammation 1 knee surgery arthoscopic 4 snus surgeries Damn I am falling apart

And I still would have to say that my ENS is the most aggravating.

Hi Mailman- Yes I have had other surgeries mainly from sports but here they are: 1 wrist surgery to remove a very large cyst. 1 pinky finger surgery (Had to be repaired with pins) Numerous broken bones because of accidents or sports. I also needed to have my thumb surgically repaired but I found out my father's insurance had dropped me from coverage 2 weeks prior. Majority of these are sports related as I have a tendency to be very aggressive and fearless during play- not smart! js

Mailman- I forgot to mention my tonsils and adenoids were taken out when I was nine and I did have a vasectomy...ouch!! However, I have three great kids and a wonderful wife. I also broke my pinky toe in an accident...not much you can do for that one. Oh... I also broke my clavicle playing football. I did have two nasal surgeries. js

Cool sounds like I am not the only surgically repaired person. I do not personally know anyone that has been through operations like me. Everyone makes fun of it but there is nothing funny about it. We sound alike because of the cyst and pins in the finger. My finger had screws and pins in it.

Hey Mailman... Yes people have a tendency to run the other way when they see me coming- very accident prone! I would have to agree that ENS is very annoying and constant. Although, I did rip a ligament and bone off of my thumb which still hurts, at times, to this day (happened 9 years ago). I am 31 and I hope all these bad things are over with. I have an appointment with Dr. Houser on June 5th to see if implants will help my ENS. By the way, are you a mailman? js

Yes I am a mailman. I had one implant last year and am scheduled for a 2nd one in two weeks.
