TE, In response to earlier post from you: "Yoga is very good for keeping healthy and especially effective for people with breathing disorders. It is scientifically proven to help and that's an undisputed fact. There is no room here for zealous religious preachers trying to capitalize on our misfortune and suffering." This is an interesting observation, you put forward as being truth, in as much as there is neither a direct reference to, or insinuation for a request to my financial benefit. Your wit seems to express the opinion that one cannot speak of the things of God, less they reveal themselves as "money grubbin preachers." I do not hereby with this response pretend to provide an argument, to dissuade you from your obvios bias-ness against people of faith. For whatever arguments you may provide against the teachings of the word of God, are not appropriate in this man-provided forum, but in the God-provided forum of "bended knee" prayer. With humble and kind regards Shane P.S. To any who wish to be informed, Yoga opens your life to Satanic attack, don't be fooled of its claims of denying this.

For the christian members of the forum who believe a middle ground can be found between the controversies of Yoga and their need for ENS aid here are some alternative Yoga options to consider. note: I am not promoting or discourageing any of the options below just providing options to consider if you find Yoga aids in ENS relief but have concerns over the theological implications. Many of these articles also adress the theological issues of yoga and why or why not a christain may want to take part in the alternatives. I do not pretend the articles below show all perspective of the argument nor do I wish to promote a debate here just some food for though for some christian members to have a bases to start their own crtical thinking process on how to help themselves. As always, decide for yourself. http://www.praisemoves.com/ http://www.christianyoga.us/home.htm http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1098937,00.html http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=1889526

"To any who wish to be informed, Yoga opens your life to Satanic attack, don't be fooled of its claims of denying this." Shane, I have read many of your posts. Many of them have been well-thought, and helpful. I am quite disappointed that you feel the continued need to post a hysterical and knee-jerk reaction to the topic of Yoga. Do you realize how sensational you come off as? I was raised on the belief system you keep preaching. In regard to this topic. I asked my former (I am no longer a practicing Christian--however, I try to respect and honor all religions...unlike many so-called Christians) pastor about the hysterics surrounding Kundalini. He plainfully, and honestly said, "there is no harm in practicing yoga for physical, and mental health." Why do you insist on trying to scare people?

In the public interest of this forum, I ask that we discontinue debate as to the good versus evil of Yoga. Shane, you made your points on why you think it's evil. To those who disagreed, you made your points on why you think it's a morally neutral practice. Jdog, great list of Internet references. Shane, I personally - as a Christian myself - don't see it as TE being biased against people of faith or arguing against the word of God and, what I know about Yoga, I think it is an OK treatment technique if it can improve our physical breathing. That's what all us ENS sufferers want. But decide about Yoga for yourself. No doubt it's good to be informed of the debate behind it. However, a debate of this sort goes against rule #6, as we are here to discuss health needs, vent appropriately, and look for practical ideas to alleviate our suffering. This forum does not serve to debate morality or religion. Future posts on the good versus evil of Yoga will be deleted. So I'd just ask that we discontinue the discussion on Yoga at this very post. I thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
