Submucosal cell regrowth?
Dr Houser, First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I searched on the site to find out whether or not turbinate tissue or bone can regrow after submucosal resection of the IT's. I found some answers, but not all of the ones I was looking for. I was wondering if it is possible for regeneration after this type of surgery and if there is anyway to make it happen?

none I know of

My surgery report says that he lateralized the turbinates. Is there anyway to "delateralize" the turbinates and could this create more resistance? I am also curious to exactly how these symptoms can heal if the tissue cannot grow back?

turbinates can be medialized which may bring some benefit nerves heal slowly; can recover long after the tissue is grossly healed

How are the turbinates medialized? Also, is it possible that my dry throat is coming from the widening of my nasal airway and is there a possibility that it may change with the healing process?
