Swelling?
can ens cause facial swelling?

iamloco724- 07-14-2008

anyone with an answer to this

SnowCat- 07-14-2008

I think it could. I have been dealing with neck swelling, and it gives a very bad suffocating feeling.

ENS doesnt cause things. ENS is a diagnosis given to an individual, who has a certain amount of turbinate tissue removed and when they have certain amount of symptoms some doctors will give the diagnosis of ENS. Your whole body is interconnected and things are connected in so many different ways. If you have your turbinate tissue removed it can negatively impact your health in so many different ways. I dont know of the connection between having your turbinate tissue removed and facial swelling. That does not mean there is not a connection. Just the fact that the swelling is in your face close to your nose, makes a connection more likely. The bottom line is you can do things that can make your body stronger. By stronger i mean your body is better able to regulate itself. And you can do things that weaken your body. This surgery weakened your body. Medical doctors are notorious for not looking at the patient as a whole. They dont even ask if a particular treatment will make the individual stronger. They look at the symptoms and thats it. If you have gallbladder problems, remove the gallbladder, symptoms are reduced. Everyones happy except your body is weaker in the long run. MDs tell you u dont need your gallbladder. ITs pathetic. There are hundreds of examples like this. Its scary. ENS is the tip of the iceberg. Tell me more about the facial swelling? There are supplements that can help with inflamattion, many times if you have swelling its associated with inflamattion. Tell me more about the facial swelling, and when you got it? How soon after the surgery. Where is it exactly?

Facial swelling is usually because of fluid build-up in the face. Swelling can also be in the upper arms or neck. I think Allergies can be one cause of facial swelling.

Many things can cause facial swelling. Mainly gland and lymph node problems. This can ocur from infection, gland disease and even prolonged stress.

the swelling is slight but noticable when you look at it and its basically my whole left side of my face mainly in the cheek area in the middle

BIGPAPPA- 07-17-2008

what side are your symptoms the worse, the left or the right. I mean with regards to an open feeling, and dryness in the nostirl. What procedure did you have done and how much of your turbinate is left? How soon after the butcher touched you did you notice the swelling?

iam, I have swellings underneath both eyes in a moon shape. Right now, I also have swellings in the glands below my jaws on both sides. I am nine months post-op. The swelling arrived about a week post-op, and has not cleared up. To me, it is clear that the swelling is a result of the surgery itself. The body produces an inflammatory reaction to injury. How could taking power tools to the skull of a living human being NOT produce inflammation? (I had no idea this was going to happen, by the way.) I feel this surgery should not be done unless the benefits outweigh the risks. Some human bodies are more prone to inflammatory reactions than others. Do you have a history of immune or autoimmune problems? I am going to begin a trial of serrapeptase tomorrow. Here is some info about it: http://www.gematria.com/GemZyme-p/46-90.htm When did you have the surgery? Cutting bone out of people's heads is beyond insane. In the words of my spiritual advisor--"If you had thought to ask if he was planning to cut bone out of your skull--you would have had to have been crazy. Who would ever even think that?" kris

iam, see if taking fish oil and bromelin will help. These are powerful anti Inflammatories. Try uisng tumeric its a spice as well. Your ratio of good fats to bad fats can cause inflamattion or anti inflamattion. These will be healthy for your body, hopefully it will help with the swelling in your face. If it doesnt the fish oil is still good for brain function, and your heart health and a variety of other positive benefits. The thing with the supplement industry it is not regulated so you have to be careful choosing a supplement company. If you want to be sure phone the company and ask the party for a third party molecular assay if they dont know what you are talking about hang up dont buy from them. Carlson makes a good fish oil.

Big Papa, Do you use the fish oil and bromelain together or just one or the other. Also tumeric spice do you take that straight or do you put in your food? thanks

How soon after the butcher touched you did you notice the swelling? i dont really have real bad open feeling unless i just dont know what im feeling but one side is defiantly more open then the other and that is the left side..my nose really doesnt seem to get dry..in my right nostril i get these scaly things in there...i had radiofrequency done with septoplasty and endoscopic sinus..im not sure how much is left..before surgery i thought i had swelling in the same spot but nobody but me noticed it now 3 months after surgery everyone notices it when they look for it..but like i said for all i know i had it before surgery..i had surgery in first week of april my main symptoms besides what i said already is pretty much constant headache almost identical to the one i had before surgery..pressure/pain over the bridge of the nose and to go along with the facial swelling there some pain there to and what kind of fish oil for carlson should i get..and anything i need to know about buying bromelin

iamloco724- 08-07-2008

following up why kind of and dose of fish oil should i get from carlson cause this could benefit my frequent pvcs with my heart also.. and anyone know about how much it would cost me to get a copy of the ct scan i took after surgery and get it on cd from doshi diagnostics so i can upload my ct images here

BIGPAPPA- 08-07-2008

Buy the liquid carlson fish oil, and take a tablespoon even though it says a teaspoon. IT is extremely safe. It is good for reducing inflammation, which is good for your heart health, because if you have more inflammation it is easier for plaque to stick to your ateries. I would also take a fiber cereal in the morning, that can cause you to better regulate your blood sugar, which would cause you to decrease your apetite, which makes it more likely your ratio of good fats to bad fats will be better, which in turn will also help your inflammation. The swelling might be reduced in your face because of this, even if it is not, it is still healthy to do these things.

BIGPAPPA- 08-07-2008

Oh i almost forgot if you take the fiber cereal, make sure you buy 1% milk or non fat milk. Dont buy 2% this is unhealthy. Dont think of it as a 1% change, its actually double, so think of it as 100% increase. It makes a huge difference. Milk can help regulate your blood sugar better, but taking a higher fat milk, will counter the positive benefits.
