What makes Pig Bladder so special? Was just reading this article on pig bladder,in my opinion i think that the pig bladder is special because it is very regenerative and it would have to be,since it is where the urine is stored and urine is toxic to all the other organs.

i guess..i hate reading about all the tissue stuff though as i believe were really really far off from it ever helping us but i guess we have to keep hope and the dream alive...

Would it be possible for us to come together under the ENS Association and write a formal letter to this company/research firm to bring attention to our plight? Maybe a single formal letter signed by all members or if it would serve better each member sending a letter separately. I think this would be an excellent test for the technology because of the multiple tissue types that we need regrown. It would seem if it helped, even just a little, it could expand it's accepted medical applications.
Somewhere I have seen where a horse was left with a large hole in its sinus cavity after running into a fence and it was repaired/regrown using this material or something like it. I can't remember where I saw it, its possible its in one of these threads. I mean we definately don't want to rush into something unproven or that could cause further damage but if it looks like this material has even a little promise maybe it would serve us to get in touch with them...what do you guys think? Maybe a pig nose wouldn't be so bad
Edit: My bad, the example of the horse with the injury to the sinus cavity was in the above news video. I thought thats where I saw it but when I reviewed it when I made this post I must have skipped over that segment.

Tom,
I agree with what you say but I think to get them to test it on a nose/animal is years away for us.I mean even if we got the good Dr.H to contact them there is still the problem of money which I'm sure we don't have as a group..It's too bad one of us isn't a rich snob and could invest in this and then make millions off of it later.lol

Canada,
Don't be so pesimistic, there is no reason that this technology should be very expensive. Besides, I disagree with the figure of speech "rich-snobs", it's not helpful and uncalled for. Many rich people have worked hard for their money, and still are happy to donate to sick and injured people if they are approached respectfully (!).
Tom,
One don't you take this upon yourself to contact A-cell and ask them all those questions. It seems clear from the video that they are FDA approved already for working with humans, so there shouldn't be any issues of animal testing or years of waiting. If I understood correctly from the last bit with the founding professor - the technology, experience and products are all availabe, and it is just the doctors that aren't taking it seriously enough and are not ordering it for their patients.
canada110- 05-13-2007
Te, Love how you attack me on every post I make thanks in advance for attacking me on this one probably. You say the doctors aren't taking it serious how about Dr.H why can't he order it for patients?Just curious
TE- 05-13-2007
Canada,
I simply don't appreciate bad mouthing entire populations like calling people "rich-snobs", it's counter productive to our efforts of getting donations, and I think you should avoid that, as many of these "snobs" read this board and may want to help.
Regarding Dr H, I suggest you ask him that yourself. I'm not his spokesman.
canada110- 05-13-2007
well you seem to be a spokesperson answering all posts and telling people how it is so I thoughtmaybe you should ask him since your the man..Te I was gonna keep my mouth shut but I"m so sick of you coming onto my posts or after I've said something and bash it or bash me. Can't you just bite your tonque for a minute for once in your life..WOW...
Were all human and were all suffering to some degree and we post. I mean we may post something wrong but you have to understand some of us post out of frustration and it shows. You don't need to jump all over it. I don't see anyone doing anything like this to you. Just relax enjoy the post and if anything just have a laugh over it if you don't like it,don't reply and bash all the time
Thanks

Canada,
I respectfully suggest that you apply your own advice to yourself.
I never commented where it wasn't absolutely necessary, and if you find I criticise some of your posts, it is because that quite often you say things which should be criticised, like when you bad mouth entire sectors.
Perhaps you're the one that should chill a little and think twice about things you say.
I do not answer any of the posts that are referred to Dr Houser, that's another example of your impulsive in-accuracies (not to say "slanderous fibs") that you keep on spitting out whenever you feel like it, without applying any self restraint.
And please, don't use this lame excuse that you're suffering from ENS so therefore you're excused.
canada110- 05-13-2007
TE,
just do me a favor leave my posts alone that's all..don't reply make it easy for me and the rest..
you just like the attention and the heated battle..
no thanks i'm done with you
TE- 05-13-2007
Canada,
Like I said before:
Apply your own advice to yourself, and do on to others what you'd like done to you.
